Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching higher secondary students (Classes 11 & 12), preparing them for board exams, competitive exams, and fostering a strong foundation in computer science concepts, programming, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Curriculum Development:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computer science lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
• Teach core subjects such as Python, Java, C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, SQL, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Networking.
• Guide students through practical lab sessions to enhance hands-on learning.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to simplify complex concepts.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and tests to evaluate student performance.

Student Development & Mentorship:

• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, ensuring their conceptual clarity.
• Support students in project development, coding competitions, and hackathons.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and remedial classes for students needing extra support.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.

Assessment & Record-Keeping:

• Prepare and evaluate exams, assignments, and projects to monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance reports.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents during PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings).

Technology Integration & Research:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer science and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Introduce students to coding platforms, software development tools, and emerging technologies.
• Guide students on the latest industry trends like AI, Cybersecurity, IoT, and Cloud Computing.

Extracurricular & School Activities:

• Organize and participate in tech clubs, coding boot camps, IT fests, and workshops.
• Assist in school IT infrastructure management (if required).
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and curriculum development.

Qualifications & Experience:Educational Qualifications:

• MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science / IT) / B.Tech. (CS/IT) / M.Tech. (CS/IT)
• B.Ed. (Preferred) – Mandatory for CBSE/ICSE schools

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in teaching Computer Science at the senior secondary level.
• Experience in coaching students for CBSE board exams, Olympiads, or competitive exams (JEE, CUET, etc.) is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, C++, SQL, etc.).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
• Proficiency in using LMS platforms, Smart Boards, and Online Teaching Tools.
