Overview:

RP World School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science and Maths Teacher to join our team for classes 1-8. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both subjects, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Instruction and Classroom Management:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Science and Maths for students in classes 1-8.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.

Curriculum Development:

• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and the needs of students.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
• Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and report to parents and school administration as needed.

Student Support and Development:

• Identify and support students with special educational needs.
• Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full academic potential.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated with the latest educational trends, teaching methods, and subject knowledge.
• Participate in professional development workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school administration.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• A teaching certification or diploma in education (B.Ed.) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Science and Maths, preferably at the primary or upper primary level.
• Experience with CBSE or ICSE curriculum is an advantage.
